Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences - SAMOK is a national interest and service organization independently administered by students in universities of applied sciences. SAMOK promotes the interests of the students in Universities of Applied Sciences based on the goals set by the student unions. Through SAMOK, these students are represented to state administration and co-operation partners. SAMOK also provides various services and discounts for the students. Student unions that belong to SAMOK have almost 50 000 members and they represent over 130 000 students.

Purpose:

SAMOK supervises the interests of the students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences on a national level based on the goals set by the student unions. SAMOK’s services support the student unions as they promote the students' interests.
